Tourism boosts local economy

More people are visiting Worthing for the day and spending more money during their visit. The latest figures published for 2009 by the Tourism South East research unit show 1.8million people visited Worthing for the day, up seven percent on the previous year. The number of people visiting Adur is about the same 0.8million as 2008.
