Local business, At Forty One, hosted a gala charity dinner dance last Friday at the Crockstead Farm Hotel, Halland, and raised almost £800 for charity.

At Forty One owner Amy Bath (pictured on the left)  and her friend Suzie Oates organised the dinner and night of dancing with brilliant live music by Sussex band ŒDynamite¹ to raise money for Breast Cancer Care. Sussex businesses generously donated some fantastic raffle prizes, which included a round of golf for two at Cuckfield Golf Centre, beauty vouchers from Spa.kle, Burgess Hill and Columbines, Hurstpierpoint, and dinner for two at The Crockstead Farm Hotel.

Amongst the prizes was a made-to-measure silk bra and knickers set donated by Amy from her About The Girl luxurious lingerie brand.

Amy told TSN: "Throughout my treatment I found Breast Cancer Care was a great source of help and information. Suzie supported me throughout my treatment, taking me to appointments and keeping my spirits up. We both thought that it would it be the perfect time to do something for Breast Cancer Care, and how better to do that than to have a party! It was a great night and I am very thankful to all who came and all who donated prizes it was definitely worth it, and something we hope to make an annual occasion."
