Following a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and an extended UK Tour, Gyles Brandreth comes to Eastbourne’s Devonshire Park Theatre for one night only, on Sunday 16 October.

They say all political careers end in tears. In Gyles Brandreth’s case, it’s tears of laughter as the former MP turns stand-up!

With a career that ranges from being Lord Commissioner of the Treasury to children’s author and One Show reporter, Gyles is no stranger to the stage having also starred in his own award-winning musical revue in London’s West End. Drawing on his own experiences Brandreth lets loose and spills the beans on his life in show-business and politics.

This is Brandreth unleashed on the stars he’s known (one-to-one) and the wicked ways of Westminster (no expenses spared). Without hesitation or repetition (and just a touch of deviation) Just A Minute regular, Gyles, delivers a dazzling evening of wit, wordplay and hilarious name-dropping – from the Queen to Christine Bleakley.

Be sure not to miss Gyles Brandreth at the Devonshire Park Theatre, Eastbourne on Sunday 16 October at 7.30pm. Tickets are £16 and can be purchased from Box Office on 01323 412000 or online at www.eastbournetheatres.co.uk
